Shou-kyouto

Tsuwano is a must-see on any vacation in the Iwami region in Japan. This 'little Kyoto' of Shimane is bursting with shrines, and temples, traditional houses, museums, art galleries, and plenty of nice cafes and inns.

This restaurant is called Shou-kyouto (小京都) which means small Kyouto. Both the Interior and the exterior of this store are wonderful. We can feel the beautiful nature of Japan. We ate curry and rice. It was so good and really cheap. There were many kinds of foods and drinks. If you go to Tsuwano, please try to eat lunch here. It's near the station.
