Iwami Silver Mine Museum
The museum was built as a local government office in the Meiji era (1902). It's a large traditional house and exhibits documents relating to Iwami Silver Mine’s history, mineral specimens, and documents concerning minerals. There are different exhibitions in each room. Some rooms have short explanations in English. If you visit in summer, it is a good place to cool down in the shade. You can discover the history of Iwami Silver Mine.
